What is the recommended dosage, and why is there a "loading phase"?Updated 4 months ago
Dosage is based on your dog's weight, and we recommend starting with a 4-week loading phase where you give double the standard daily amount. Here's why that matters.
Your dog's gut barrier and immune system didn't break overnight. For most allergy dogs, the damage has been building for months or even years. The loading phase delivers a concentrated dose of probiotics, Quercetin, and Curcumin during those critical first four weeks so the formula can begin repairing the gut lining and calming the immune overreaction as quickly as possible. Think of it as building a strong foundation before you switch to maintenance mode.
After the first four weeks, you drop to the standard daily dose, which is enough to maintain the gut-immune balance the loading phase established.
Here's the dosing chart:
Loading Phase (First 4 Weeks):
Under 35 lbs: 2 chews per day
35 to 75 lbs: 4 chews per day
76 to 120 lbs: 6 chews per day
Over 120 lbs: 8 chews per day
Maintenance Phase (After Week 4):
Under 35 lbs: 1 chew per day
35 to 75 lbs: 2 chews per day
76 to 120 lbs: 3 chews per day
Over 120 lbs: 4 chews per day
If your dog has a particularly sensitive stomach, you can start at half the loading dose for the first few days and work up. But the full loading phase is important for getting results as quickly as possible, so don't skip it.
